Waterloo Station

The Waterloo station is one of the central London terminals of the British National Railway. It is located on the south bank of the Thames and in the Waterloo area of Lambeth. The station is connected to the London Underground station of the same name and is adjacent to the other national railway station, Waterloo East Station on the Southeast Mainline. Ferries to and from the nearby London Eye Pier and Festival Pier are also available at the nearby pier.

Waterloo Station is located in London's 1st toll area. This station is the eastern terminus of the Southwest Mainline, the London terminus for trains to the south coast of England and southwest England, and travels to the southwestern cities of England such as Epsom, Reading, Southampton . It is worth mentioning that the station is next to St. Pancras International Station, where you can take the high-speed rail Eurostar train to Brussels, Paris and Amsterdam.

The Victory Arch of the station is a Grade II registered building. In the center of the main lobby is a large four-sided clock that is a traditional meeting place.

City Tour

Don't think that Waterloo is on the south bank of the Thames, away from central London. Conversely, as the Thames bends as it crosses the city, many parts of the city centre may unexpectedly be closer to Waterloo. You can reach Covent Garden, Trafalgar Square or Westminster within 15 minutes and then arrive at São Paulo and Tate Modern in 25 to 30 minutes. The South Bank area where Waterloo is located is also vibrant.
